Is Burj Khalifa Dubai's greatest achievement?

Yes indeed! the Burj is Dubai's greatest achievement because it symbolizes all that Dubai stands for: overweening ambition, pride in all material advancement, and galloping conspicuous consumption.
And have the proud citizens of the Biggest and Best city heard of the authentic hadith: the 9th sign of the coming of the Day of Reckoning: vying with each other in building tall buildings?

The Burj is only another piece of icon that symbolises what Dubai can achieve - from the metro to the palm, the hotels and grandiose malls, its airports and roads. The vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed is to be glorified, not without the credit of H.E. Sheikh Khalifa for providing him a stable economy and the funds!!!

It is a great achievement, but not the greatest. Dubai is so rich that building the worlds tallest tower was a left hand game for them. Dubai had earned its status through sheer hard work and planing. A lot of the credit goes to H.H. Sheikh Mohammed for stepping up and doing what is best not only for Dubai, but also for the United Arab Emirates as well.
