I have no experience in real estate but something tell me that building so much and so fast during a global economic crisis is quite risky, not that Dubai isnt prepared but after all it is a very new city and maybe slowing down will be more secure for the UAE citizen future, I mean what is the hurry of destroying all Jumeira old houses to create more buildings and new condos?
And how the Uae national can adjust psychologically at this fast pace the country is developping? I believe what will help Dubai to keep houses 's price quite hight isnt based on europeens or foreigners investments but within the Arabs unity themselves: The GCC people also invest here in Dubai and that could help Uae not to be a victim of the global financial crisis, however a little slowdown would be wiser!
