After some years working for the family firm, a small toy shop in the heart of Manama’s old souk, Mohammed Dadabhai bought his first house, igniting a new interest in real estate development and management.

“It was not until I brought in labourers and built my own house that I decided to go into construction,” he says.

Today, he is the chairman of the Dadabhai Group, a diversified set of companies offering commercial construction services, and travel and hotel management services. He began with apartment buildings and moved on into hotels.

The Dadabhai Group’s assets include some of Bahrain’s best known hotels and resorts. Its construction arm Dadabhai Construction is responsible for the completion of several of Bahrain’s buildings such as Platinum Tower, Crystal Heights, Tubli Residential Project and West End Tower.
