TAKAFUL: Announces results of its BOD meeting held on 25 February 2009 Category: BOD, Bonus Shares, Rights Issue
The Board of Directors of Takaful International Company agreed in its meeting held on Wednesday 25 February 2009, to recommend the followings to its shareholders registered on the date of the AGM (the record date):
1. Issuance of 2,500,000 bonus shares at the rate of (1) to every (20) shares, and at a total value of BAD 250,000.
2. Issuance of new right shares at the total value of BAD 1,000,000 for shareholders registered at the closing date that will be announced before the issuance.
Please note that the above recommendations are subject to approval by the relevant regulators.
