Etisalat has announced that it will bring the iPhone 4 to the UAE on 25th September.
Full pricing and availability were not released, but the operator says that it will offer a range of price plans to customers.
The latest version of Apple's smartphone was released to users in the US and UK on 25th June, and has gradually been rolled out in different markets around the world.
The handset suffered from a problems with signal strength, which some users reported was seriously degraded if the phone was held on its lower left edge of the phone.
Apple initially blamed a software error that merely misrepresented signal strength in the graphic display, before finally relenting and offering free cases to iPhone owners, after it was found that a ‘bumper' to protect the corner of the phone stopped the signal from being blocked.
Apple is set to reevaluate the issue at the end of this month.
iPhone 4 features FaceTime, video calling, and the high resolution Apple Retina display. The handset also features a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, HD video recording, Apple's A4 processor, a 3 axis gyro and up to 40% longer talk time.
Running on Apple's iOS 4 mobile operating system, which includes over 100 new features, the phone is also compatible with Apple's App Store, which provides a wide range of downloadable applications.
