Since the inception of Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) in 2004, Mubarak Hamad Al Muhairi has helped position Abu Dhabi as a unique destination characterised by traditional values and conservation. Al Muhairi has established a ‘one-destination’ approach to marketing the emirate, helping the emirate to develop international mindshare.
He also works in partnership with Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC), for which he is managing director and he was personally involved in the creation of the Cultural District of Saadiyat Island. Committed to driving and growing Abu Dhabi’s hospitality and tourism sectors, Al Muhairi also sits on the boards for Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company, Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture & Heritage and Abu Dhabi Airports Company.
