He has driven the ambitious expansion of the world’s ‘five star’ airline; has nurtured a successful group of companies that includes Doha International Airport and Qatar Duty Free Company; and is involved in the efforts of Qatar Tourism Authority to promote the peninsula nation to the world.

Throughout 2008 and 2009, the CEO has launched a number of long haul routes. This development runs alongside the ongoing multi-billion dollar project to complete the New Doha International Airport by 2012.
