Salim Bin Adey Al-Mamari has some ambitious targets to achieve - in 2005, the ministry said it wanted to increase tourism revenues by 7% annually over the next five years. It also aims to increase the proportion of Omani nationals in the travel and tourism sector to 90% from a figure of 37%.
