One of a kind exhibition set for Bahrain next week

Top construction and interiors firms from around the world will gather next week in Bahrain at a one of a kind trade event.

Innovation, style and ambition are just some of the themes visitors can expect to find at the gulfBID and gulfINTERIORS exhibitions, which will be held concurrently at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) from 4 to 6 May 2010.

The event is unique because it offers for visitors a complete buying and specifying chain across the construction, interiors and furniture sectors under one roof. No other trade show in the region offers this diversity for visitors.

Latest products and services will be showcased by more than 100 leading construction and interiors-related firms for the benefit of the more than 3,000 visitors expected at Halls 1 and 2 of the BIEC.

gulfBID and gulfINTERIORS are being held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.

gulfBID is billed as the leading exhibition for the construction and building industry in the Northern Gulf and will feature innovative products and services from the categories of Building and Construction, Water Technology and Environment, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Cleaning and Maintenance, Glass and Metal, Bathrooms and Ceramics, Marble and Machinery, and Construction Plant, Machinery and Vehicles.

The first gulfINTERIORS, meanwhile, welcomes influential international interior design firms such as renowned US designer Perla Lichi and multi-award winning integrated global design company design world partnership (dwp). The exhibition will include the categories of Contract and Residential Furniture, Interior Design Services and Contracting, Textiles and Upholstery Fabrics, Beds and Bedding, Flooring and Wall Coverings, Lighting, Kitchens and Bathrooms, Art and Accessories, Ceramics, Marble and Granite, Outdoor Living, Retail Services, Hospitality and Office Fit Out.

gulfBID and gulfINTERIORS will also be held concurrently with the region’s first Green Building Forum, to be held on 5 May 2010 at the BIEC. The Forum is organised by international event consultancy North Star Associates in association with HCE, and is held under the patronage of Shaikh Ibrahim bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Housing for Bahrain.
