RW Armstrong Discusses Award Winning Projects At Cityscape Abu Dhabi

RW Armstrong, a global architectural and engineering consulting firm with offices in the UAE, Libya, and Egypt and headquarters in the USA, announced today that it will showcase its award winning and latest projects at Cityscape Abu Dhabi exhibition, which takes place 22 - 25 April 2012 at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center in Abu Dhabi.

RW Armstrong has firmly put their footprint in the MENA region since their regional headquarters was launched in Abu Dhabi in 2006. The firm has established a world-class portfolio of high profile projects including UAE Presidential Palace which is currently under construction, Sorouh Sun & Sky Towers on Al Reem Island which was completed in 2011, the new Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority headquarters which is designed to achieve 2 Pearls Estidama, Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club currently under construction and Masdar Institute of Science and Technology, which is nominated for the 2012 Cityscape Award for “Best Sustainable Development”.

The participation at Cityscape will be used as a platform to showcase these and more of the firm’s latest projects. RW Armstrong’s senior team will be present at the event to discuss the firm’s services, project experience and Estidama sustainability rating system. A few of the firm’s latest projects include the infrastructure design and supervision for the Truck Road Project from Ras Al Khaimah ring road to Al Madam, Dubai and the new ACE Hardware store next to IKEA on Yas Island which is now completing construction.

In 2012, RW Armstrong has been awarded Architect of Record for the significant Aldar Zone K- Garden Crescent- Residential & Non Residential on Yas Island, an Emirati housing community, and the Architectural design and supervision of construction of Halat Amar Port for passengers, the border station between Jordan and Saudi Arabia with the Ministry of Finance.
