Available in both English and Arabic, the app can be used by pressing the ‘call doctor’ button and typing one’s query. The patient’s questions will then be routed to the best available doctor from a range of specialties including family medicine, general practice and emergency medicine, and will be assisted with their diagnosis and medical prescription.
Commenting on the program, Jalil Allabadi, Founder and CEO of Altibbi, mentioned that “The free trial program is a great way to enlighten people about the different benefits and usages of Altibbi. Having access to a doctor 24/7 and on the spot is crucial nowadays, especially with the busy and fast paced lifestyles we live in”.
Allabadi added, “The Altibbi app allows patients to avoid the traditional visit to the doctor while also accessing safe and effective medical care from the comfort of their homes”.
The app, which is available to all users in the GCC, can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and comes with features such as unlimited calls for the whole family for a nominal monthly subscription of AED 19.99
