The Lootah Group is one of those massive collections of companies that has its origins in a diverse family business. As well as its extensive contracting operations, it has significant ready mix interests in the form of National Ready Mix Concrete Company. The company has been operating for the last 32 years and employs more than 4000 people.

The company claims to have supplied more than 15 million m3 of concrete to jobs across all of the UAE. It supplies these jobs from plants scattered around Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and elsewhere. Combined it has a total production capacity of more than 1200 m3 per hour, which it distributes using more than 165 transit mixers, 29 concrete pumps and 11 placer booms. The company even operates its own quarry. Under the Lootah Industries banner the company operates factories working to produce steel, fiber glass, aluminium, marble and a host of other construction materials.
