Jehan Green Walls, established in Sharjah less than a year ago, manufactures and supplies 3D panels. The panels are made out of expanded polystyrene (EPS) board with a galvanised (coated with zinc to prevent corrosion) steel mesh on either side.

MEP works can then be applied before concrete or gypsum is spayed onto the panels to form a ‘skin’. These walls are much lighter than traditional partitions, and hence they reduce the weight of the building and require lighter foundations to support them. The panels are manufactured with a standard width of 1.2 m, and of varying heights up to 6m. The thickness of the EPS core varies from 40mm to 150mm, as per customer requirements.

Gypsum precast walls are manufactured by applying gypsum on either side of the 3D panel. Being just 25% the weight of normal hollow blockwork, they are ideal for partition walls. Gypsum precast walls offer excellent finishes, are water-resistant, and provide a high degree of fire-resistance.

Concrete precast walls are manufactured by applying concrete to either side of the 3D panel in the pre-cast yard. They are available for a wide variety of applications, including full-sized walls, segmented partitions and boundary walls.

Some current projects using products from Jehan Green Walls include Nurai Islands, comprising exclusive luxury villas built on an uninhabited island off the coast of Abu Dhabi, in the UAE. The superstructure of a built-up area of 1250m2 was completed in 30 working days.
